Extraordinary Council Meeting July 31, 2020

This extraordinary meeting of Council was held virtually.

The meeting minutes (French only) are available by clicking here. The Mayor used his power of veto therefore some items had to be brought back on the agenda of the Aug. 21st meeting.

This meeting was called by the Councillors in order to be able to move forward as quickly as possible with the roadworks projects covered by the loan regulation #2019-563.

Since the Mayor does not agree with the majority of Council, the only way for Councillors to proceed is by presenting resolutions at a public meeting of Council.

All resolutions presented were passed by majority vote with only the Mayor and Councillor Suzanne Paradis voting against.
